Base Powers

So, I haven’t updated in a while, but why update a blog when I could just program and work on the game itself. Anyway, I’m working on the art for the game so that I can make some videos and actually show the world the game rather than just type it. But, I will give you a full synopsis of the base nine powers.

Fire: Short cooldown, low initial damage, sets the enemy on fire for a short amount of time, short range.

Ice: High cooldown, high damage, is fired in an arc so medium range.

Electric: Moderate cooldown, medium damage, hits multiple enemies in a line, which has long range.

Dash: Low cooldown, low damage, the player dashes forward a short distance hitting any enemy he passes through.

Jump: Low cooldown, ??? damage, let’s the player double jump.

Boost: Moderate cooldown, increases the player’s speed and jump height for a short time.

Wind: Moderate cooldown, no damage, fire a projectile that throws the enemy back and stuns them for a short time.

Metal: Low cooldown, immobilizes the player and makes them immune for a short time, though some attacks can break this.

Blood: High cooldown, regain a portion of your health.

All these powers will be used to determine combination powers.
